Cahyanudien releases new book “ACHE: What Kind of Life Is This?”

Indonesian author Cahyanudien has released a new fiction book titled ACHE: What Kind of Life Is This?. This English edition is the counterpart to his Indonesian work ACHE: Hidup Seperti Apa Ini? and is now available on multiple platforms including Amazon Kindle, Google Play Books, and Apple Books.
The book follows the protagonist Rei across 32 short scenes set in an unnamed Japanese city, capturing the quiet persistence of everyday life. Moments range from misprinted business cards to lost personal belongings, emphasizing continuity and mindfulness rather than dramatic events.
Cahyanudien said, “This book is about showing up, even when life doesn’t go as expected. It’s a story of small moments, ordinary experiences, and continuing anyway.”
