Head priest of Hosho-ji Temple, a branch of the Nichiren Shoshu Honmon School of Buddhism. A member of the Waseda University Tanka Society, Kokoro no Hana (Flower of the Heart) and Hansokujo (Hanjyojo), and currently the leader of the Gekko no Kai (Moonlight Society).
