A bride named Surbhi collapsed from a heart attack and was pronounced deceased shortly afterwards. But instead of cancelling the expensive event, both families agreed to continue the wedding by marrying the groom to Surbhi’s younger sister, Nisha.
The ceremony went on while Surbhi’s body was placed in another room in the house. The incident shocked many and was confirmed by the local news and relatives, who watched in total disbelief, and wedding and funeral were unfolded under the same roof.
