Rajyalaxmi Chitrakar died. She was burned alive by protesters. The house was also burned. She was trapped inside. It happened in the capital city of Kathmandu.

She was the wife of Jhalanath Khanal, who formerly served as the prime minister of Nepal. The Parliment Building was damaged. Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel was also targeted.

She died while recieving treatment for her burns at Kirtipur Burn Hospital.
