On Wedndsey evening, a passenger plane that was said to have been carrying carrying 64 people collided with a helicopter in the area surrounduing Washington DC United States.
There were no survivors expected.
The plane plunged into the Potomac River following the collision.
The Russian government confirmed that there were Russian civilians aboard the plane as well.
