On Tuesday afternoon, for the first time since 4/14/2013, at 2:49 p.m., Boylston Street and the famous “finish line” of the Boston Marathon was safe at 2:49 p.m. EDT, the 889th minute of the day (890th if you count the minute between 00:00:00 and 00:00:59). Yesterday, at that time, two bombs exploded at the Boston Marathon’s finish line, located on Boylston Street, at 14:49:43 and 14:49:57, leaving three dead and 200+ injured. On what was supposed to be a happy day and a day of celebration, the explosions, which are being investigated as a terrorist attack, turned this day into one of the saddest days in Boston’s history.
