Reports on Thursday indicated that air ambulance paramedics spent two hours attempting to save the life of pioneering heavy metal singer Ozzy Osborne, who died on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at the age of 76. They were unsuccessful.
The aircraft was dispatched to a field nearby Osbourne’s residence. A spokesperson for the air ambulance said: “We can confirm that our helicopter was dispatched to provide advanced critical care at an incident near Chalfont St Giles yesterday.”
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”
As of Thursday, the cause of Osborune’s death remains unconfirmed. Some have suggested Osbourne’s death to potentially be related to his battle with Parkinson’s Disease, which he disclosed in 2020. His sister said: “He was frail but it still came as a shock. He still had plans and things he wanted to do. We don’t know the details of his death, it’s still too early. It’s just so sad. I’m just thankful he died in England.”
