Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh – At a poetic gathering (Kavi Sammelan) held at Kshatriya Bhavan under the banner of Mustaqim Inter College, renowned Urdu poet Anjum Lucknowi received the Dr. Allama Iqbal Award. During the event, his book Jawabe-Shikwa was formally unveiled.
The evening featured celebrated poets delivering stirring couplets. Lucknowi’s verse — “Yeh soch ke main kooch-e-qatil mein nirdar tha, Musa jahan rehte the, woh Pharaon ka ghar tha.” — captivated the audience with its depth and emotion. His recognition at the event highlighted his important contribution to contemporary Urdu poetry.
