Pune, Maharashtra — Atharva Deore, a youth leader from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), organised a blood donation camp in Pune aimed at encouraging voluntary blood donation among local residents.
According to Deore, the purpose of the camp was to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and to highlight how it can benefit both donors and those in need of transfusions. He stated that donating blood is a simple act that can help save lives, and also noted that regular, safe blood donation can offer certain health benefits for donors.
Deore oversaw the arrangements for the event, including coordination with volunteers and medical personnel who managed screening and collection procedures. He thanked the participants who chose to donate and urged more young people to take part in similar initiatives in the future.
The organisers reported that the camp was conducted with standard medical protocols and aimed to contribute to meeting local blood supply needs.
