How to get a legitimate Froakie in a Dream Ball in Gen 6 games

This is going to be your guide for obtaining a legitimate (non-hacked) Froakie in a Dream Ball in Pokémon X and Y or Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Note: Although you will be hacking or genning to create the initial Froakie, you will be playing the game legitimately for the rest of this process. At no point in the process of generating an egg in the daycare, taking the egg, and walking thousands of steps to hatch the egg, will you be modifying your game in any way.

Step 1: Use an external device to create a Froakie in a Dream Ball. The Froakie must be female; otherwise, the rest of the guide will not work. In Generation 6, only female Pokémon can pass down their Pokéball.
Step 2: Get a male Psyduck.
Step 3: Leave the Froakie and Psyduck in the Daycare on Route 117 (ORAS) or Route 7 (XY).
Step 4: Get on the bike, then cycle back and forth until the Day-Care Man is ready with an egg.
Step 5: Talk to the Day-Care Man to get the egg.
Step 6: Bike back and forth until the egg hatches. The newborn Froakie will be in a Dream Ball!
