At 11:43 AM, it was reported by the Department of Homeland Security that a Minneapolis woman shot by a United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer died. Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Tricia McLaughlin claimed that the shooting occurred while ICE officers were “conducting targeted operations,” and in response to the woman “attempting to run over our law enforcement officers” with her vehicle.
