Brazil women’s national team defeat Zambia 6-1 in a friendly.

On the 15th April 2026, Brazil defeat Zambia in a thrilling 6-1 thrashing. Zambia and Brazil’s national teams have been on a similar run of form, with Zambia having 2 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses whilst Brazil have 3 wins and 2 losses in their last five. Only being 1-0 at the break, Brazil then went on to score five whilst Zambia’s first-choice goalkeeper Nali got a red card, Zambia were reduced to 10 women. Zabmia’s Banda scored their only goal in the 51st minute, whilst Brazil’s scorers were Yasmim (30′), Tainá Maranhão (47′), Angelina (60′ pen), Raissa Bahia (77′), Kerolin (90’+1) and Vitória Calhau (90’+6 pen). 2 of Brazil’s goals were from penalties. Nali’s red card was likely the reason Zambia got thrashed so hard.
