The Artemis III mission is planned to launch four astronauts from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. They will travel aboard the Orion spacecraft, propelled by the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket. This mission will focus on testing essential rendezvous and docking procedures between Orion and commercial human landing systems, which are crucial for landing astronauts on the lunar surface.
